Chris has a long and winning history on the track, named Rookie of the Year after his first season behind the wheel. He earned numerous top finishes and awards while racing with the Mid Atlantic Region ARTS (All Star Race Truck Series). He built the 12 Truck himself and raced through 2004, finishing third in the region. He was licensed by NASCAR in 2004.
When his team lost funding, he returned to his lifelong fascination, working with classic cars, restoring them to their original beauty or modifying them into unique, customized vehicles.
